We are aware that players are encountering issues on the following serrvers: Arkenstone, Brandywine, Firefoot, Gladden, Nimrodel, and Silverlode, and are actively investigating the issue. Amarthiel seeks to reforge Narchuil, the ring of iron she forged long ago under the tutelage of the Dark Lord Sauron. In an effort to stop her, Elrond Halfelven of Rivendell has dispatched heralds throughout Eriador, seeking the last vestiges of the Ring-lore of Eregion. These Heralds have been charged to enlist the help of people of good courage to help in this endeavour, and reward them for their efforts. Once enough fragments of lore have been gathered, Elrond may learn a way to hinder the Champion of Angmar and put an end to Narchuil’s threat once and for all.

Book 14 Downloadable Updater Now Available! |

The downloadable patch for Book 14 is now available! This patch will update clients from Book 13 to Book 14. New players will still need to go through the normal patching process - this patch will only work for those whose clients are current as of today (July 16). It will not work for Roheryn.
The downloadable patch means you can download it and patch your client before the update goes live on the servers, saving you time when they come back up. It also means you can download the patch on a computer that you don't have LOTRO installed on (i.e. your work computer), transfer the patch to a disk or device, and then run it on the computer with a LOTRO client to update it. Starting today, players may use this service to move their monster play characters from one server to another.
